Hi

I just picked up my 1993 T80, 9k on the clock, bit rusty here and there but a gem. My wife and I went to pick it up, two up on a bike I have never ridden was fun. The idling speed was racing so left it in 1st when at lights as she would jerk forward if popped into first from neutral.
Got home, used a third of a tank for 20 miles. filled it back up and 3 miles later used half a litre. crazy as i thought it would do over 80mpg. I have a friend who rebuilds bikes popping over to sort the carb out and sort the jets, i hope this helps, the bike has only done 100miles in a year and I thought there may be an issue or two. Im 100kgs and my wife is 60kgs so a lot for the bike to cope with. I managed 40mph on the flat, 55 down hill and 25 up hill, with just me on it the speeds were a little better, not that I wanted to thrash it. The bike had a service 50 miles ago and two new tyres. I love the T80 so far, my wife calls it Worsel lol. Very Happy
