Its a wire mesh filter in the bottom of the crankcase, you have to remove the RH (clutch) cover to get to it. Slide it out, wash in petrol & re fit.
I would suggest that you buy yourself a Haynes manual as it will answer these sort of questions & give instructions as to how to do it.
Plenty on eBay.
