Re: deleated old memebers
Ive been on many sites for the few memebers we have there is more going on than some with hundreds.
yer its to cold to go down the shed and fiddles 30 years ago I always had a project on the go in the living room ,I restored many a bike in side the house no chance now back then I rebuilt my 400F and found that prices where starting to get silly,
Like John here pointed out rear shocks for the T80 each 115 quid ! there having a laugh, and to many have jumped on the band wagon to cash in on it all. i recon

Presumably the genuine parts are being bought by 'rivit counter' restorers who then trailer their bikes to shows to get awards, for sure they dont ride them, the whole old bike scene seems to be going that way. No one in their right mind would pay A J Suttons prices when there are perfectly good repro & second hand parts out there. I am sure the rear units sold by Fuzz are as good if not better than the originals which I am sure have no damping. But of course they are not original.
I think it is quite common in the Japanese old bike scene to scour the world looking for NOS parts to restore jap bikes to show condition. These people seem to have large wallets.

i went to the stafford bike show, Sure the high spec of the restorations are excellent and well done but like my brother said it makes you feel sick so good they will never see the road.
