YAMAHA V50 / V80 PROP STAND
Hi All,
Can anyone confirm if a prop stand off a V50/V80 would fit a Townmate T50/T80?
I am looking at putting one on.
Cheers, Frank.

Re: YAMAHA V50 / V80 PROP STAND
The side stand is mounted on the footrests on a T50/80, & was only fitted to the early models. This drawing shows the footrests but not the bracket & stand http://www.peugeotscooterspares.co.uk/spares/epc2.asp?ModelID=9063&pageID=29&m=YAMAHA+T80+TOWNMATE+STAND%2E+FOOTREST&uid=0
I would not think its the same as the V50/70/80. If you can get the actual side stand & the spring you could make up a bracket & weld it to existing footrests. The footrest/side stand assemblies are very hard to find these days.
There is currently a V50/80 side stand in eBay, it does look similar & with a suitable bracket would probably do the job http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-V50-V80-PROP-STAND-/321011376356?_trksid=p2045573.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27%26meid%3D3945939484996924439%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D1011%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D321011376356%26
