Hi guys
I have just joined up to share stories about the joys of Yamaha scooters.

I bought a v75 off eBay a couple of years ago. She joined my small fleet of junk. A runner that is has been painted several shades of blue I have spent the intervening years fixing her up and having a bit of fun.

Recently we had a clutch issue which has turned out to be a broken cage in the drive system. So I am hunting down a 296-16586-01 to get my baby back on the road.

One thing I have learnt recently for everyone's benefit is that 296-16586-02 may supersede 296-16586-01 in all the books but you cannot replace 01 with 02. There must have been other changes as well in the service updates as 02 is thicker than 01.

Anyway enough of the mysteries look forward to sharing stories.

Cheers

Paul
