Another disaster!
I seem to be going one step forward and two steps back at the moment, my latest failure is when removing the exhaust (i bet you know whats coming now) one of the studs in the head sheared off
I sometimes wish i could leave things alone and not mess about but i guess tinkering is half the fun of having these bikes. Hopefully i can get a stud extractor on whats left of the stud and get it out, will let you know how i go on.

Re: Another disaster!
The trick here is to apply some heat around the broken stud with a small gas torch, make sure you keep it well away from the carb, (shield it with a piece of metal). You should be able to get it out with a pair of moule grips.Fellrunner wrote:I seem to be going one step forward and two steps back at the moment, my latest failure is when removing the exhaust (i bet you know whats coming now) one of the studs in the head sheared off
