Please see what has turned up in ireland. http://www.donedeal.ie/motorbikes-for-sale/yamaha/5545920

Is it hard to get a paperwork sorted on a uk bike?

Its for nothing if paperwork can be sorted

Depends if it has a UK number. If you were in UK then you just apply for a new V5c via DVLA form V62. You need to check on the DVLA web site https://www.taxdisc.direct.gov.uk/EvlPortalApp/app/home/intro?skin=directg to see if its listed (click on Vehicle Enquiry) If it has a Y after Export Marker its been officially imported to the Republic of Ireland & it should have an Irish plate.
If it has an Irish plate then I dont know, but assume it to be a similar proceedure with Irish Licencing people

Thanks John,

I was speaking briefly with the owner and he did not know if it was uk or Irish. He did not have any plate/reg what so ever.

I'm afraid it's starting to scream at me to run... Clean example none the less.

Owner sounds an idiot, bought a bike with no paperwork or registration, from where? In the pic it has a registration plate???
