just read this months twist and go there was a article about 5 bikes that were ridden from lands end to john o groats acouple  of  mzs diesel Enfield Honda c90 and a t80 what caught my eye  was that the t80 did 164 miles per gallon and from reading the right up they were doing 50 plus ,im sure mine wont do that many, mind you I don't go on long runs on it
the diesel Enfield  done 189mpg,trouble with the t80 is the tank wont hold  enough petrol for a long run with out refuelling and if you have your camping gear on the back its a pain unloading to refuel
still very impressive mpg

A good average is 120 mpg for T80 but I would expect to get a bit more on a long run, maybe 135, but 164 seems a bit excessive at the speeds quoted.
