Rear Mudguard
The good new is I had got a little time to start work on the back of the T80. I needed to see what it was like under the dirt accumulated in the mudguard. It took lots of hot water and a lot of mud came out.
It was not too bad underneath. It still has some blue paint and a rough, shallow layer of rust. However, at the top where the circular strut section is, a narrow rust hole is evident, about 3 inches across. So far, it has not penetrated far but it needs to be stopped now.
Once it has all dried out, I would think it should be filled. What sort of filler would you suggest? It will probably not need much and luckily it is not on a load bearing area.
Once it is filled, I will take the underneath to bare metal, etch prime, prime and paint.
Thanks.

Re: Rear Mudguard
You could use something like JB Weld or Unibond Repair Metal but to do a proper job it needs welding.
