I trust you will remove the forks, clean & re grease the steering head bearings, if not that shot blast grit will soon make a mess of the ball races. You should have really removed forks (and centre stand) before shot blasting

Oh no no no ! forks have to be cleaned too ! and rusty old centre stand .. to hell with the old head race bearings they'll be changed anyway..
btw shot blasting is metal peening this is sand blasting ..

no your dead right there johnw .. headraces are unobtainable..i read that somewheres ..better get to them before they get ground to mush..asap..ta
