Hi All,I stumbled across this forum while searching for parts for a 1990 townmate 80 I have just bought for a whopping £10.
It has been under a tarpaulin in a garden for the last 16 years.I put some oil down the plug and some fresh petrol in and it started 3rd kick  :d\\'-\\':
I want to get it mot'd but the wheels are beyond repair, anyone know where I can get some pattern or nos ones(done a search and trawled ebay but no luck)
Maybe there are other yamaha model wheels that would bolt straight in?
Thanks in advance,enjoy your Townies,Mark

Welcome aboard, this seller on Gumtree is selling wheels http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/various-yamaha-townmate-parts/1046544676 trouble is they all tend to rust particularly the back one. Depends how much you want to spend on the bike but it may be worth getting them re-rimmed & spoked. Central Wheel Components can do them http://www.central-wheel.co.uk/ if you cant find someone local.
