How often do you change your oil in mileage terms?
Thanks

With only 850cc of oil which also goes round the primary transmission & gearbox, it has a hard life. Oil is cheaper than an engine rebuild & costs only a couple of quid per oil change. Haynes quote 4000 miles or 6 months if you want to stick to the book.

I'm with John on this, i change mine every 1000miles, every time it gets to the next 1000 roll over on the mileometer (15000,16000,17000) this way i don't forget and the cost is negligible. I change my Merc' Sprinter every 3000, filter every 6000 and thats with the best oils. DON'T SCRIMP ON OIL, it will pay in the long run.
