noise and what can it be

im having trouble posting new posts up or im getting forgetfull and cant remember were ive put them anyway the otherday I m sure I put up a question about noise and the fact that it had only just started in the last week I have not checked the tappets or cam chain ,yet ,,nor has it run low on oil so can tappets or cam chain develop a rattle with in a few days it sounds like the engine has run with out oil

Depends where the noise is coming from, & what sort of noise. Most likely cam chain or tappets, but could be exhaust blowing at the cylinder head. They tend to rust through there & the noise can sound like a 'rattle'. Just run a check over these things.

if its not raining to d=bad tomorrow I will pop over to my mates work shop and have a look

got the tappets and cam chain sorted now it sounds like it should ,,funny how it just happened over the last week, has any one put hand guards on there t80 if so what do you think of them
