I am the owner of 4 townmate's, Two are identical 84 model's, The 83 single vin has a different style speedometer! otherwise usual T80 affair

Varies from a single digit vin 1983 T80 to my trusty 88 long indicator version.

All bikes are not mint condition all are functional machines that are used by myself and my brother, just handy to have 2 spare machines!

only 2 of them. Other 2, are in the middle of a restoration.

sadly this will be the last year my 88 model will be on the road,

it has rotted in a really odd place and i was unaware of the problem until i removed its engine earlier year to replace its big end and crank.

the main frame tube that goes above the engine to the weld on the rear swingarm mount has basically nearly rotted completely through above the engine, inside the battery compartment!

have bodged the bike with a 1/2 " plate but sadly i think its nearly the end of 88er Sad
