car nearly ran into the back of me last night well evening really I was waiting for a green light at a road works what he said was he could ,nt see my rear light I must admit on tick over its bloody dim, I was thinking of wiring a led in to my rear light and run a wire to my top box were I would mount the extra light , can anyone see a problem with this idea

Best to keep the stop light on when waiting at traffic lights as that's powered by bike battery. If you want an extra rear light fit an LED cycle rear light, internal batteries last ages. No good wiring an LED rear light to existing rear light bulb as an LED lamp will not work off AC direct lighting No

good idea with the stop light also done the cycle light may now live another evening
