On a recent weekend camping trip on the Cubs (my T80 not quite ready just yet) me and my mate like to travel light with compact but serviceable tents and the like but where food is concerned he's at the extreme. A small gas stove each of course, but then he carries little more than crisps and pot noodles - just add hot water! "So light to pack and nothing to wash up" he invariably argues!
Whereas, I always like to take sufficient for a quick but tasty hot meal such as instant mash potato combined with scrambled eggs (sometimes scrambled on the journey!), the potato easily made first with a drop of boiling water, then quick-fried in the hot pan with a touch of butter and the eggs thrown in, salt and pepper. Delicious!

Any favourite camping recipe suggestions out there?
