I have used spray gun and paint from SPIES & HECKER -YAMAHA number 293

Couple of questions: What info did you use to get that colour?

Is that the Spies Hecker colour code for Yamaha High Sparkle Blue (NHB), Yamaha colour code: 001H?

I need to source a supplier for this paint in Sydney for when I restore my T80. I have searched Spies Hecker website in the UK but can only find 293 under the paint code 543 on their system.

Is this the correct one? Be great if you could let us know.

OK, at the time of posting my comment about the paint code, I didn't realise that you were not from the UK.

I'll have to try and colour match.

Otherwise, your work is gold. Very impressed with how it's taking shape.
