Hi All,

Would anyone know if the accelerator shaft seals are available. I am completely rebuilding the carby off mine and the seals I've taken off are suspect. There is too much play when on the shaft so probably sucking in air when running which might explain poor running (hesitant, stuttering) when cruising.

Regards, Frank.

Looking at A J Suttons web site http://www.yamahascooterspares.co.uk/spares/epc2.asp?modelID=9063&PageiD=7&m=YAMAHA+T80+TOWNMATE+CARBURETOR&uID=0 the seal is only sold as an assy with the pump plunger, these parts are out of stock.
I think the seal is more of a dust cap, as long as the plunger (piston) rod is a good fit in carb body its ok
