My T80 Failed Its MOT!
Taken in today and soon got used to the gears so thanks for your help.
The bike failed because they said the horn was not loud enough.
It also failed as the indicators now have stopped flashing. They were last week!
One odd problem it also failed on was that revs increased when you turn the handlebars!
Any advice on fixes please?
I will see if I can adjust the horn tone. Still, I suspect the men at the test station don't see many 6v vehicles so probably do not know their foibles.

Re: My T80 Failed Its MOT!
Indicators are a weak point on the T80 & rely on a charge from the generator to boost the battery. They should have tested it with engine running, as with the horn also, maybe the battery need replacing if you have not already done so. The throttle problem is due to a 'snagged cable with not enough free play, a valid fail point. As you suspect the men at the test station don't see many 6v vehicles so probably do not know their foibles. Maybe better to try a smaller MoT test station that knows about old bikes.

Re: My T80 Failed Its MOT!
I am pleased to report that my T-80 passed its MoT test today on its retest. The only advisory was rust on rims.
I had it all fixed up at the weekend and all is roadworthy now!
Thanks for your advice.
