DIY decals
Hi all
The decals on the side panels of my T80 were peeling and torn so I have made a new set, right and left side.
They are now available in a word document, pretty much the correct size (but you can tweak that if you want to) and suitable for the blue paint scheme (a reasonable match). The silver parts obviously print out as grey.
I have printed mine out on photo paper and carefully cut round the very edge of the lettering, using nail scissors to get into the difficult corners. I will attach using clear self adhesive film, which will keep the water out. Not as good as the genuine article but better than the scruffy remains that I had before.
I don't know how to attach Word documents here but I can email to anyone if interested. No cost.

Re: DIY decals
They are available to buy as a set and as far as I am concerned for £25 it's cheap. Consider how much time you have spent just to do 2 decals and even if they were still available from Yamaha, they would be more expensive.

These are color matched even the metallic silver (not grey), correct stock.
Unless you have used UV/solvent based inks, they won't last long at all.

DIY decals
Many thanks. Last time I visited that site it looked like they had stopped production. I will see how my DIY set look but as you say £25 for the full set is not bad at all.

Re: DIY decals
They don't keep stock. You put in an order and they will print them off for you.

Re: DIY decals
You can always get a set from me off ebay... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131847665643?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
Cheap at £18 including postage.
Unfortunately I only have the gold colour left, all sold out of silver.

decals
Yes, I've noticed the gold ones but I want to have something resembling the original. I'm making progress with a DIY effort
