Thanks to the people on the forum who helped me with the problems with my indicators. I have just returned from completing the North Coast 500 on my Townmate. She ran really well with no problems on the well over 500 miles that we did. My wife joined me on her Peugeot Vox 110 and a friend on his Honda C90 and his son on a Aprillia Habana 50. The 4 gears on the Townmate were much better for the big hills than the C90s 3 speed box so I am glad that I was lucky enough to spot it for sale as otherwise I would have gone for a C90 . For anyone interested the NC 500 is a fantastic ride or drive with absolutely stunning views.

Well done Michael, I tried doing it this year on my Silverwing and a friend on a Forza 300, but the Forza sprang a big petrol leak which cost the owner £700 to fix.
Maybe next year I'll do it on a Townmate.
Hope you had good weather, I understand the midges were at a record high this year which puts me off going at peak times, did the Vox cope well?
