Sad Day In Wales.

Yes it's a sad day as i have just put my Townmate up for auction. The reason ?? i have recently bought a 1971 Honda CB750 K1, that's the one with four seperate exhaust pipes, unfortunately it has 4 into 2 pipes that detracts from its looks and value. New exhaust system is over £1000, so the the Townmate has to go to finance the pipes.

I'm sure,in the future,you will buy another Townmate.

best of luck with the honda , that bike was for a long time my must have bike ,in my youth, but as i reach 60 i cant be doing with a great big heavy bike any more icant ride at more than 40 mph on my 8 miles to work so have a 110 automatic scooter that is brilliant for the daily commute

i remember the honda 750 four and the quaker z1 always out of my price range in the 70s but my mates and i used to visit the local bike shop on saturdays and look all the bikes over ,and kid ourselves oneday,,
