T80 Centre stand removal?

Hello I've trying to remove the centre stand from my donor T80 and fit onto my good one.

I've removed the circlip and rear brake lever however i can't remove the shaft to release the centre stand. Ive soaked it in wd40 and however much i try to tap it through (to the drive shaft side) it won't budge

Any ideas or tips ?

Try applying some heat with a gas torch
