Hens Teeth Please - Airbox rubber to Carb
Just fitted the original airbox back onto my townie but the rubber that comes from it down to the carb is britle and perished at the carb side and think this will be the reason why now the bike over revs when blipping the throttle on tickover
Anyone got a good one available as i belive these are unobtainable
thanks

Sorry I dont have a spare one of these but you could try this breaker on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-T80-TOWNMATE-1988-BIKE-BREAKING-FOR-SPARES-/130711602969?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item1e6f04c719

There is a complete air box on eBay which looks like it has the carb connection hose you need attached http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-T80-Townmate-Air-Filter-Assembly-11570-/130693543023?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item1e6df1346f
I have bought from this firm Manx TT Motorcycle Breakers, at Durham they are OK, air filter box does seem a bit pricey, I have these (less carb connecting hose) for £5 & dont get any takers, its not a part that wears out. Make them an offer, but bear in mind the bit you need is as you say 'hens teeth'

I just used a piece of pipe for a radiator on mine. Worked a treat.
