Stale petrol

Hi gaz, tryed to poat a reply in the shed but got msg only for administrators. Anyhow I was gonna say if it was mine I'd drain the tank and then use carburetor spray or paint thinners to clean off the insides of the tank , oviously not getting any thinners on the paint

Hi Dan, Here is a picture the tank is coated on the inside and is flaking its only stood 17 years!




I will look in the shed might bin that bit.
