Hi all i am looking to get more top end speed from my t80 by changing the drive gearing can any one let me know if this is possible and best way to go about it
ps costs must stay low

Its not possible to change the drive ratio as no other gears are available from standard, you could fit a larger section rear tyre 300 x 17 instead of 250 x 17 this would in effect give a higher drive ratio but the bike would than go slower up hills & in head wind, it may also adversely effect handling. I suppose you could tune the engine (bigger carb, have head skimmed & gas flowed) but it would probably not stand that for long. If you want to go faster buy a bigger bike! 50 mph is top wack for a T80.

ok no problem that put my mind at rest i will keep it as is at least my trip to Germany:d\\\'-\\\':  will be steady at 45-50mph instead of last time on my other bike 100-150mph lol
