I have a spare sidestand that could be used with the above set of footpegs. £10 including postage. It has already been cleaned up and has nice shiny black paint on it.

does any1 know why its only some bikes that have side stand and others dont? also if foot rest with side stand would fit my early c reg model as can get hold of set if they do not sure whats differant between the two models apart from the rear light cluster and front indicators

Yes the older footrests will fit the later bikes, I think the reason why they were left off the later ones is something to do with safety, if the stand was left down it could throw you off. Modern bikes with side stands have a warning buzzer fitted. It may also be that Yamaha wanted to cut costs. Other than that I dont know.

ok thanks will get them for my bike will be alot easier for me going on meets then trying get my bike on the main stand fully loaded with camping gear. ive never seen t80 with side stand out of the 5 t80s me an my mate has had between us. ah yes i had that ptoblem with my rxs100 a few times an nearly got thrown of
