Im Dan.... Ill start by saying i dont have a townmate. (YET)

Ive got a few other bikes though,

*1971 puch maxi S with a 70cc motor, geared down and running thru a 17mm carb and expansion can (its my toy Very Happy )

*1984 honda ch125 spacy

*1984 honda c90-e (my daily bike)

Im looking for a V series townmate, A friend of mine used to have a v50 when i had my c50 auto. I loved the sound and smell of that townmate. It looked so 70's too....
And as my rebuild of the spacy is nearly done (couple of months tops) Im on the lookout for my next project. Hopefully a higher cc V

Hopefully it will pick up a little. The townmate is a nice bike. Very understated. And imho the 2 stroke is cool on a par with the fs1e, And its a shame it isnt seen as such by most people....

Need to find one Laughing

As for the puch, Ive actually blown the bottom end , So im compiling a rather expensive shopping list to build it again, Yet this time even quicker and deadly reliable... Somthing moped tuners never seem to get at the same time Very Happy

Its also going to get a total rebuild this time rather than just engine and MOT...

Was going to put some photos up , But the forum just told me i cant for 7 days?
