Short answer is no they cant be dismantled & have little or no damping even when new.alexanderswifty wrote:Hi,

Best thing is to fit an after market set from Motor Cycle Products http://www.motorcycleproducts.co.uk/shocks-yamaha-t80-1983-97-p-256818.html
