The lights have low intensity
Hy to all T owners again.
Today i've noticed that the signal lights and position/brake lights have low intensity,so they are not seen properly if the sun hit them. This situation can generate an accident from the back cars following me!
Any sugestions/solutions?

Check you have good earthing points. the intensity is not that good anyway, particularly when brake light is used at same time as indicators. May need a new battery

Re: The lights have low intensity
Thank you JohnW for answer.
I thought maybe there are some new generation of 6v light bulbs for exchange.
I think the battery is from last year,it seems new.

I suppose you could fit LED bulbs (if you can source them for 6volt) most that are available in UK seem to be for 12V only. You would also need a new flasher unit for indicators. This subject has been raised before https://yamahatownmatet80.forumotion.co.uk/t499-led-indicators-for-the-t80?highlight=Indicators
Looks like Paul Goff her in the UK can supply the bulbs & flasher unit
Otherwise its just something you have to live with I am afraid.

Re: The lights have low intensity
The relay charger seems to be good, the battery is not good,it doesn't keep the voltage. After starting, the voltage is going down. Also the negative conection to the frame is a little corroded, like almoust the conectors. So,i ordered a new gel battery.
Those faults are until now. Will see after putting the new battery and cleaning all the connections.
