Re: Townmate Front Shocks
Hi John
There is an Ebay seller in Indonesia who puts these up every couple of months. Otherwise I should ask the seller of Ebay item 400285316107 for the dimensions.
Best wishes, Doug

Re: Townmate Front Shocks
Dont need any at present still have a few spares, & luckily the the ones on the bike survived the crash although the links got bent, (bike back up & running now by the way) one of those on the replacement forks was u/s but have a couple of other pairs that seem ok, but the damping gets weak after a while. Thought Fuzz at mildhogs may have sourced some as he does the rears. If a source of new ones is not forthcoming it will present a problem in future years for Townmates.

Front shocks
These genuine (NOS) Yamaha units have appeared on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Genuine-Yamaha-T80-V50-V75-V80-T50-Shock-Absorbers-Pair-35T-23350-00-/140892769777?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item20cddd0df1
Bit pricey at £60 plus p&p. I expect the seller thinks they have found a pot of gold, but I suppose if you need some there is not a lot of choice as there do not appear to be any pattern replacements.(are there Fuzz) There are some well used ones with links also on eBay but starting at £8.99

they look well used & are probably clapped out.

Re: Townmate Front Shocks
Hi All, I have read through this post but is there any update on the availability of replacement shocks for the front?
Cheers, Frank.
