1989 Yamaha T80 : i don't arrive to find again the original documents
hello,
i don't arrive to find the original documents.
i only have the photocopies than i made eight years ago of when i bought it : V5, test certificate and this of the buying by a french seller.
will it be possible to obtain a duplicate of these from UK?
i also search the original Yamaha T80's document crossed of red colour, could you help me to obtain one?
thanks
Jean

You need to write to:-
DVLA
Swansea,
SA99 1BD
England
There will be a charge for a duplicate, was £25 maybe more now.
The red V5c is the latest document.

the email address : drivers.dvla@gtnet.gov.uk don't be good
the document crossed of red colour that i search isn't a new V5 but a technical document.
all my contacts from Japan and England whom i asked to find this document don't give me any result.

This is the DVLA Contact Page https://www.taxdisc.direct.gov.uk/EvlPortalApp/app/home/contactus no email address so you will have to write a letter or telephone.
I dont know what other document you are on about, DVLA will only supply a replacement V5c. Not sure if they will do that in your case as the bike is out of the UK & you are not a UK citizen. What is the UK registration of the bike? You can check here https://www.taxdisc.direct.gov.uk/EvlPortalApp/app/enquiry?execution=e2s2 to see of it has an Export Marker & if its been officially notified to DVLA as exported. Y means yes its been exported, N means no its not been exported. If as you say you cannot register the bike if France I cant see how DVLA can help.

Re: 1989 Yamaha T80 : i don't arrive to find again the original documents
Thanks, number is G549 KCW, according to DVLA it has not been officially exported as Export Marker shows N (= not exported) so last UK owner did not tell DVLA he had sold it abroad. I have put the number on the DVLA web link that I gave you in a previous post & it shows as follows:-
The vehicle details for G549 KCW are:
Date of Liability 01 06 1996
Date of First Registration 31 10 1989
Year of Manufacture 1989
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 79cc
CO₂ Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type PETROL
Export Marker N
Vehicle Status Unlicensed
Vehicle Colour BLUE
Vehicle Type Approval Not Available
The Date of Liability 01 06 1996 would have been the last time it was licenced in UK, it is currently shown as Unlicenced in UK (as one would expect)
You need to tell DVLA that you now have it so they can amend their records
Best of luck.
