Fuel Sender float adjustment
Hi All,
I have ran out of fuel in the T80 3 times in a year but luckily service stations are everywhere in Sydney.
Even though my fuel gauge works, I know as I had it repaired by a VDO technician, I have discovered that the tank is completely empty when the needle has just hit the red zone on the gauge. From that point onwards you should still have about half a litre or maybe a little more before you completely run out but mine is running out before that. My question is, could the float arm be adjusted to compensate, say, bend it back up a little so when the tank is really empty the needle is all the way to the left? Your thoughts?
Cheers, Frank.

Maybe it is time to make a low fuel warning light for our motorcycles?
