Fork seals or new forks either as mine shot
Hey i have a 89 t80 and the forks leak not had a good look yet but im guessing either seal gone or the lot needs replacing.
any one have either of these and a rough price?

I assume you mean the shock absorber is leaking as they are leading link forks with no oil in them. The shocks are sealed units and seals cant be replaced, new ones are unobtainable. The oil is for damping but does not have much effect.

I assume you mean the shock absorber is leaking as they are leading link forks with no oil in them. The shocks are sealed units and seals cant be replaced, new ones are unobtainable. The oil is for damping but does not have much effect.

sooo......... is there no way to sort out the front end as its not doing a great job and on braking in rises and locks out with a bang? i have the kit to rebuild the front would that help or do i need to find different forks?

The fork kit may stop the banging but not the leaking shocks.
