Fuel type used in your T80?
Hi All,
Just wanted to see what type of fuel you folk are running in your Townmate?
I have been using Shell 95 for a couple of years and found the T80 to run OK. For a couple of weeks now I have been filling up with Shell V Power 98 Octane and notice the T80 has more torque, revs out higher, runs smoother and sounds better. I would say by using 98 octane fuel the T80 has about 10% more power but V Power costs 20 cents (10p) a litre more than normal unleaded but for 5 litres it's not worth worrying about.
What is anyone else using and have you found a higher octane fuel improve the performance?
Cheers

I just use the standard 95 octane unleaded, like in your country 98 is about 10p a litre dearer in UK. Runs ok on 95 so stick with that.
