LED Daylight running light
I have recently fitted an LED daylight running light to my T80. It came off of a scrap bicycle, it is fitted to a bracket I made for a piece of aluminium angle attached to one of the two fixing screws for the plastic PANEL FRONT 2 (pt No 3EL2339730)
I have wired it to the positive battery feed to indicator flasher unit via a switch so it comes on when ignition is on but can be turned off at night to avoid dazzle.
The light I used has some form of capacitor or internal battery ( it was powered by a 6 volt hub dynamo) so it stays on for a minute or 2 after engine is switched off, ideal when putting the bike away in the dark. Just needed a piece of tape over light sensor on rear of lamp that turns light off in daylight.

For some reason the lamp I used needed shielding on the back with a piece of aluminium foil other wise it would not work. Maybe T80 electrics interfered with the electronic circuit inside the lamp.

They are available on eBay new but a bit expensive from £25 upwards. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AXA-Blueline-30-Auto-Steady-Front-Cycle-Cycling-Bike-Dynamo-Light/292227115077?epid=1144693156&hash=item440a17e845:g:a-MAAOSw3ONZoIF5:rk:30
