I have just had my Yamaha Townmate T80 stolen in the middle of the day on a busy street. I paid £800 for it in a private sale and it is C reg with only 5,000 miles on clock. Insurance can't find a valid valuation anywhere and are hazarding guesses as anywhere from £300 to £650. Does anyone know where I can get an actual valuation for my bike.

It will be difficult now its been stolen unless you have photos, you should have taken out an agreed value policy with your insurance provider. Its all to do with condition, as you say anything from £300 to £650. I have mine insured for £500. The only thing you can do is to look on eBay for one in a similar condition & try to negotiate a price around that. Best of luck.

I would certainly not go down this route, it would be fraudulant and if found out would result in NIL payout by insurance, blacklisting and maybe a court appearance!!!!! Very surprised at you Barker making this suggestion.
