bang on front end?

bang on front end?
Not sure how to describe this really.
when the front brake is used and the front rises it gets to the top and then bangs as if its locking out?
im guessing its not meant to smash in to its self or at least have some rubbers there to stop it?
i did see a front fork repair kit for sale and had rubbers in it??

Sounds like fork link bushes are knackered, there are no rubber bump stops

for the sake of 12 quid I would buy replace and inspect the other parts wile its in bits, I replaced mine took a couple of hours one afternoon taking my time.
