Front End
Hi Guy's hope your all well.
Looking at streetfightering the t80 so I'm looking for a front end setup.
First does anyone know of a front end that will bolt straight in with disk break and risers?
Are the headstock's/bearings the same size as a C90 because theres loads of info on what will fit them.
I don't really won't to go down the machining route as not gonna spend to much on it.
My wife thinks I'm , but I can't help myself I've never had a bike that I've not changed something on
A small part of me does think that i should keep it original

Front End
Hi Jamie,
I share youre dilemma on the front end, prior to twisitng my forks i had looked at ways of chaning the geometry to provide more travel and to alleviate the upwards direction of travel when under harsh breaking. some prototype designs that i will share if they become pratical.
Clearly it can be changed: (search yout ube for: TownMate T-50 Presented By ~'LaPaToR'~ Part 5. - i cant post the link becuase im a newbie) along with a lot of the rest of the bike, however if your looking to maintain a T-80 then your in for a long discussion with your conscience, its tempting though.
Re the above link, my greek is not good [seems like the greeks like the T-80's (do a search on youtube for: yamaha townmate VS honda glx(cub) - i cant post the link becuase im a newbie)] and some of the mods are pretty tasty.. if you do manage to find forks please let me know, ill either follow suit or remunerate you handsomely if you choose to part with yours..
