Re: Yamaha t80 t50 carb difference ?
Ok I just put Καινούριο in to google translate and it says new is this correct? So the €60 carb is new, I will have to see if I get a email back from the shop, I guess €60 for a new carb Isent a bad deal, depends if they would ship and how much shipping cost would be

Re: Yamaha t80 t50 carb difference ?
I own a T50, I've changed the cylinder with a 79 cc set with the piston, but I kept the same crankshaft , connecting rod and cylinder head.
So I've raised the cubic to 72cc and the compression over 12.
Now i want to change the carburator but I can not find a carburetor 16SH in good condition I kept the old 14SH and I decided to change the main and pilot jets.
Today i bought from Yamaha a pilot jet No 15 , because as i see at Haynes manual the T80 has a 85 for main and 15 for pilot.
(As i can see at Haynes manual the T50 has a 77,5 main jet and a 12,5 pilot.)
But as they told me at Yamaha the 1983 T80 has a 87,5 main and 15 pilot.
The 1986 T80 has a 85 main jet and a 12,5 pilot.
Τhese combinations are different from those of the Haynes manual.
What is your opinion ?

Probably wont make a lot of difference. Try both and see which is best.

I will try both cases and I will check the spark plug if it is black, or It is better to visit a workshop for fuel analysis;
