indicator wiring
need spot of help ive spent couple hours trying to wire my indicators in ive tried couple diffeant ways an my results are just the indicator dash warning light flashes. just the netral light flashes. the rear flash correct side but the front flash wrong way round. both sides flaah correct but my side light dont work been head scratching an cant find way to get it to work oh and to get indicators working i have to only plug 1 the wires in and leave the second im ashuming the earth unplugged my bike is a early c reg little chrome front indicators and the rear indicators are part of the rear light unit if theres differance between that an later models

Check it through from there making sure all connections, particularly the earth are good. The indicator bulbs should be 6v 10 watt.

thanks maybe ive earthed the side light in wrong earth causing problems

Most electrical problems stem from bad earths, make sure there is a good earth back from head light to the main frame if not the earth return has to go through the headstock bearings. Worth putting in an extra earth wire.

thanks i will have to try following the cable back an check the earth do you know what the blue wire is behind headlight cant find anything that plugs into it

The only all Blue wire on the diagram is between the Lighting Switch & Dimmer (Dip) Switch. If there is another then looks like someone has rewired it using non standard colours. the lights are plugged into a defferant plug maybe thats why the side light stops working when i plug indicators in think its part the loom its got proper connectors on it
